East Coast Electrical was originally founded in 1996. Recently the company has been taken over by business partners Kale Reed and James Cornford. Based in Biddaddaba, Kale and James have been working together since 2014 in the Energex subdivisions market completing numerous large projects for a wide variety of contractors including Lend Lease, Shadforth, CCA Winslow and Goldings civil contractors. We now have a growing team capable of taking on projects of any size

James and Kale have completed some of the largest subdivisions projects for other contractors in Southeast Queensland, these include large estate such as Yarrabilba, Springfield Rise and the Surrounds at Helensvale. They have both also completed a comprehensive range of other projects from smaller temporary supplies as a set up for sites offices before works commence, LCC projects, HV pit projects, Car charging stations, Community lighting and sports field lighting projects and numerous other community title and smaller subdivision projects. James Completed his apprenticeship at Energex and has worked closely with Energex his whole career, so is able to assist with any Energex related projects or problems.

East Coast Electrical is an electrical contractor currently Energex Underground accredited in WCS 2 & 37. We specialise in Subdivision estates in the Energex network but can also complete other major electrical projects, large (100 Amp+) connections and minor works such as temporary building supplies and customer connections.

As we are an Energex rated company, we can also offer safety observer services for working around OH powerlines and working in and around HV plant.
